Inspired by the new Hurricanes commercial I'm covering a quick lingo term.


Roof
The top part of the net.  In hockey, it's normally used when someone scores a goal by putting the puck in the top portion of the net.

• Where they keep the cookies
• Where momma keeps the peanut butter and some keep the pornos

Can't find the Jeff Skinner Top Shelf goal at the moment, so instead using one of Tyler Seguin.
